You Will Always Be THE Queen. #RIP

From the moment Margaery Tyrell first appeared in Season 2 Episode 3 of Game of Thrones, I was certain that she would be my favorite character. During her first moments on the show, I could see the intelligence in her knowing eyes. During every scene, it was clear that Margaery had a knowledge of everything happening around her. She was thinking countless steps ahead.

In the game of thrones, Margaery Tyrell is the rare golden rose whose ambition was not clouded by emotion. Margaery was always scheming, plotting, and planning. Margaery represents the politics of The Game of Thrones. A true diplomat, she would cheat, trick and charm her way to positions of power. Given lemons, Margaery would effortlessly produce lemonade…and I mean BeyoncĂ© level Lemonade.

Her passing denotes the end of an era: the transition from an intricate chessboard of well thought out moves to a mythical shit show of dragons, zombies, and magic. Margaery was everything good in the world of Game of Thrones and she is simply the best character that Thrones will ever have. Rest in peace.

You will always be THE Queen.

I Had To Be There - #Bernie

I just had to be there. I was excited for the Tribeca Film Festival, but when I got turned away from the opening night gala and had a craving for chicken, I knew that I absolutely HAD to go to Washington Square Park to see #Bernie #Sanders (and get Chick-fil-A).
Before I got turned away from the opening night gala
Jane Fonda and Jason? Something?
I mean, how many chances do you get to see the eventual runner-up of the Democratic Party??! I daresay the number is as low as about 20 (assuming you live for about 80 years and there's an election every four years).
Photo from my RAZR:
Bernie is the white blob to the left of the arch.
After entering the park and wading through a crowd of unenthusiastic #Bernie supporters, I reached a point where I could just barely see the stage. I listened through Rosaria Dawson and Spike Lee sing praises about the man before inaudible music blasted and someone else walked out.

I wasn't quite sure it was Bernie, but then I saw his inimitable gesticulating arms - were they waving hello, beckoning me closer, or perhaps pointing down the 1%. I was too far away to tell, but I WAS THERE...for fifteen minutes and then I needed to get my Chick-fil-A.
Success!
